Chantha is ethnically Cambodian and was raised in Long Beach, California, by a single mother. At a young age, Chantha came to faith and had the privilege of attending a private Christian school. In his early teen years, he felt the calling into pastoral ministry and subsequently enrolled in Bible college to pursue a bachelors degree in theology. While in college, Chantha met Susan, a native of Rockford, Illinois.
In 2021, he became the Lead Pastor at Bunker Hill Church. Chantha is a passionate preacher, caring shepherd, and encouraging leader who lives with the mission statement; "Love God. Love others. Learn truth. Live for the eternal." As a former missionary, he is passionate about world evangelism, especially in underserved and unreached places of the world.

Chantha and his wife, Susan have been married for 21 years and have 3 children; Caleb, Corban, and Carter and a French Bulldog named CoCo Chanel.
